AEC Narrow Fabrics Announces Promotions and Organizational Groups

Two New Directors Head US and Central America Manufacturing Operations

AEC Narrow Fabrics recently announced three promotions and two new leadership positions for its manufacturing operations in the US and Central America. 

Lonnie Hanks (JR) has been promoted to the position of Plant Manager for Plant 4 in Asheboro, NC.  Plant 4 produces woven narrow fabrics. 

Rodney Smith, former Plant Manager for Weaving and Finishing has been promoted to a new position as Director of United States Manufacturing. In his new role, Rodney will be responsible for Manufacturing Operations and key people including:
• Plant 4 Weaving, Asheboro - Lonnie Hanks
• Plant 2 Knitting, Asheboro - Sandy Shelton
• Corporate Engineering - Mike Monroe
• Corporate Quality - Randy Stroud

Rick Adelman has been promoted to the new position of Director of Central America Manufacturing.  His new role encompasses Manufacturing, Research and Development Operations as well as key people including:
• Plant 5 Knitting, El Salvador - Leonel Preza
• Tesa Plant, Honduras - Aldo Zavala
• Corporate R and D - Matt Welshans
• Corporate Technical Dye and Finishing - Ron McBride
